
Why the body is not a depot
and why values still fluctuate
A simple question
In the classic view, it is often assumed
that the body stores nutrients as if in a depot.
But if you take a closer look, a crucial question arises:
Where exactly are these depots located?
In practice, there is no evidence of clearly defined storage facilities in the sense of a fixed warehouse.
Instead, a different picture emerges:

Why values can change quickly

This occurs in particular when the body:

Without context, it can easily be misinterpreted.
